How It Works

Most people reach us after something hasn't worked. Here is what happens between your first message and your first visit.

  1. Send a request, or book a free 15-minute call

Both reach the same front-desk team, so pick one, not both. Want to see Sharon Hernandez? Send a request. Her visits are scheduled by our coordinator.

  2. We check your benefits

Using insurance? We check your plan for the clinician, your state and the visit type. We complete most insurance checks the same business day. Timing depends on your plan and network status. Self-pay works too; the prices are on Insurance & Cost.

  3. A coordinator confirms fit and schedules

You talk with our patient-care coordinator before an evaluation goes on the calendar. That conversation covers the clinician, telehealth or in person, and the dates that work.

  4. Your first visit

Bring your medication list and any recent lab results. We go through your symptoms, history, medications and results before we talk about next steps. Canybec's initial evaluation runs 75 minutes.

  5. Follow-up

Follow-ups are 30 minutes. How often depends on your treatment and how you respond, and it changes as you do.

Where you can be seen

Telehealth anywhere in Arizona and California. In person in Gilbert (Suite 310 inside LifeSpann) and Rancho Palos Verdes, with San Francisco by appointment.

Not for emergencies

If you may harm yourself or someone else, call 911, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
